The STABILO Aquacolor is a water-soluble colouring pencil that can be used both dry and wet. The set contains 24 colours from the ARTY range, suited to drawing and watercolour work. The pencils have a soft core with a rich pigment concentration, so you can apply intense colours that can be blended with a damp brush to create a watercolour effect.
Use them dry or wet
The Aquacolor pencils can be used in two ways. Dry, they give a sharp, detailed line like an ordinary colouring pencil. With a damp brush over the applied colour, the pigments dissolve and a soft, flowing watercolour wash appears. This makes the pencils suitable for both precise detail drawings and flat areas of colour.
24-colour ARTY selection
The set contains 24 carefully chosen colours, including titanium white, Indian yellow, orange, bright red, fuchsia, dark blue, azure blue, leaf green, ochre and black. The colours blend well for extra nuances and transitions.
